For four years, I left before dawn to photograph places transformed by light. The series follows the rhythm of those days: night, beneath stars shaped by the Earth's rotation; daylight, from first light to dusk; and finally the landscape from above, where familiar places become patterns.

The photograph isn't finished when I press the shutter. Printing is part of the process, and I care about it just as much.
Color photographs are printed as archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle cotton paper. Black-and-white images are made as true silver gelatin prints in a traditional wet darkroom from my digital files by one of the few remaining labs in the world still practicing the process.
Every print is reviewed by me, signed by hand, and carefully packed before it leaves the studio.
I've spent more than a decade making photographs. What began in music and live production gradually became a life spent chasing light in the mountains.
I now work with Leica, guide photography adventures for Leica Store Miami, and serve as Executive Director of the Leica Society International.
Home is Golden, Colorado. These photographs are the result of four years of late nights, early mornings, and saying yes whenever the landscape offered something extraordinary. Select print sizes are available as limited editions, each personally signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

I print every copy myself, so I tend to know where each one ends up. A few times a year I write to the people who collect this work — a new piece, a new edition, and now and then something I hold back for them before it reaches the site.
